The Race

Not a selection run.
A national moment.

MountaiNation is Bhutan's first endurance race event company, built to design, host, and grow world-class trail experiences across the Kingdom. Our opening event runs the full spine of the Thimphu ridgeline: starting at Sangaygang Base, climbing to Phajoding, pressing on toward Pumola, and finishing at Buddha Point.

Run TBT: Chapter 1

MountaiNation opens the Trans Bhutan Trail race series with its very first chapter: a high-altitude ridge traverse across the peaks above Thimphu.

The National Selection

This event doubles as Bhutan's official national selection, hosted through Run TBT, identifying athletes to represent the country on the trail-running stage.

Built for the Community

Every entry fee and partnership contributes directly to the R4B community fund, turning endurance sport into lasting local impact.

The Community

Built By Runners

MountaiNation grew out of a running community that already trains on these roads and ridgelines, from Thimphu's clock tower to the farmhouses of Paro.
